Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using NextPath ("the Service"), located at nextpath.info, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

NextPath is operated by NextPath ("we," "us," or "our"), based in West Islip, New York.

2. Description of Service

NextPath is an AI-powered career platform that provides the following tools and features:

  • AI resume rewriting and optimization
  • Resume scoring and ATS compatibility analysis
  • Job matching and search
  • AI interview preparation
  • LinkedIn profile optimization
  • Resume example templates by job category
  • Community discussion boards

Some features are available for free with limited usage. Full access requires a paid subscription or purchase of credits.

3. Accounts

To use most features of NextPath, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Credits

NextPath offers both subscription plans and one-time credit purchases. By purchasing a subscription or credits, you agree to the following:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value
  • Unused credits do not expire while your account is active
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe

Prices are subject to change. We will notify you of any price changes before they take effect on your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use NextPath only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

  • Upload resumes or content that you do not own or have the right to use
  • Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive or defraud employers
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the platform
  • Use automated tools or bots to access the Service without our written permission
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Post spam, harmful, or illegal content in the community section
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to NextPath, including your resume and any text you provide. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim any ownership over your personal documents or the AI-generated output created for you. You are free to use, share, and distribute your rewritten resume or any other content generated for your account.

Your resume content is sent to OpenAI's API for AI processing. OpenAI does not use API-submitted data to train their models. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

NextPath uses artificial intelligence to generate resume content, interview answers, and other career materials. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before using it
  • NextPath does not guarantee that using our Service will result in job interviews or employment offers
  • You should never submit AI-generated content that contains false or misleading information about your experience or qualifications

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials on nextpath.info — excluding content you upload — are the intellectual property of NextPath and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

NextPath integrates with third-party services including Clerk, Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, Vercel, Brevo, Google Analytics, and Adzuna. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXTPATH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Suffolk County, New York.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of NextPath after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For significant changes, we will notify you by email.
